Under the midnight sun, discover yourself and the pristine beauty that surrounds you—truly, a summer like no other.

Fishing on Blachford Lake: Big Fish, Bigger Thrills

Angler’s Paradise Unleashed! Catch monster Lake Trout (up to 43lbs) and fierce Northern Pike (up to 32lbs) in the pristine waters of Blachford Lake. Whitefish are plentiful, while nearby lakes offer Walleye. From June's ice melt to October's spawning season, the season is full of surprises. Shallow bites dominate later summer, while autumn brings trophy trout closer to shore.

Fishing on Great Slave Lake: Trophies Beyond Imagination

Fishing Legends Start Here! Cast for monster Pike, jig for colossal Lake Trout, or fly fish for Grayling in legendary Great Slave Lake. With trout over 30-40lbs as the norm, even 20lb catches seem small. This 600m-deep, icy lake remains frozen most of the year, keeping trophy fish closer to the surface.

Catch & Release: Fish. Feast. Sustain.

Reel in, Release, Relish! Blachford Lodge champions sustainable fishing with a “Catch & Release” program for trophy fish, ensuring their healthy return to the lake. Enjoy smaller fish for delicious shore lunches and dinners.
