Where We Are

  • Blachford Lodge is located approximately 100km (62 miles) east of Yellowknife, in the traditional territory of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation (Chief Drygeese Territory)

  • There is an old abandoned trapper’s cabin on the far side of the lake and a historic mine roughly halfway between Blachford Lake and the East Arm of Great Slave Lake.

  • This is true wilderness. Aside from these, there is no nearby development.

  • The lodge sits on the north shore of Blachford Lake, surrounded by boreal forest and open skies
