ACCOMMODATIONS

Newborn Polar Bear Cub Lodge

The Newborn Polar Bear Cub Lodge is a beautifully refurbished Navy communications base which stands 300 feet on top of an old beach ridge located about 40 miles south of Churchill, MB, Canada.

The lodge is isolated in the middle of the tundra, with the nearest neighbor being 40 miles away. It is completely self-sufficient as it is 'off the grid'. In the central lounge, there is a wood burning fireplace to relax with fellow guests. There are some rooms available as singles, but most rooms are shared with up to 4 people of the same gender to a room in two bunk beds. Washrooms are shared and showers are not available. A sauna and Internet is available. Power is provided by onsite generators. The lodge can accommodate up to 18 guests.

This is a rustic lodge, yet provides the world's best access to mother and newborn polar bear cubs.

Note: Camp configuration & accommodations may be changed due to logistical or environmental considerations beyond our control.
