Newborn Polar Bear Cub Lodge
The lodge is isolated in the middle of the tundra, with the nearest neighbor being 40 miles away. It is completely self-sufficient as it is 'off the grid'. In the central lounge, there is a wood burning fireplace to relax with fellow guests. There are some rooms available as singles, but most rooms are shared with up to 4 people of the same gender to a room in two bunk beds. Washrooms are shared and showers are not available. A sauna and Internet is available. Power is provided by onsite generators. The lodge can accommodate up to 18 guests.
This is a rustic lodge, yet provides the world's best access to mother and newborn polar bear cubs.Note: Camp configuration & accommodations may be changed due to logistical or environmental considerations beyond our control.
