CAMP
A comfortable camp is a welcome refuge after a long day on the ice, water or land. Camps are customized to the group size, degree of mobility, degree of comfort, environment and logistical constraints. From large spacious dining tents to separate kitchen facilities, bathrooms with running water and even private heated sleeping tents we can provide many of the comforts away from home. We also have minimalist camps for projects that may move daily or be required to move at any moment, such as on sea ice during the break up. We have set up satellite camps at points of interest for scuba diving, viewing polar bears, filming or a day camp while still having the more robust camp to return to in the evenings. We have tents that accomodate two all the way up to 8 people with divided rooms with private doors and windows. All of the shelters we use primarily are large enough to stand up and walk around in and have been tested extensively in the field over many seasons and conditions. Our equipment is not a one-size-fits all and we customize each camp to best meet suit the requirements for each expedition.
