Flying over Cape Horn and the mythical waters of the Drake Passage, Arctic Kingdom invites you to a unique experience that will take you to one of the most remote and beautiful places on earth - Antarctica.

We have eliminated sailing the Drake Passage from this epic trip and will whisk you away from Punta Arenas and King George Island in comfort and style aboard our jet service.

Fly on our BAE-146 jet service from Chile to King George Island. The BAE-146 is a high-wing aircraft with very short runaway requirements which makes it particularly suited for this kind of destination. It is operated by Aerovias DAP, which has more than 30 years experience of flying in Patagonia and Antarctica.

Sail on the M/V OCEAN NOVA, a modern and comfortable vessel. She was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail the ice choked waters of Greenland, and her ice strengthened hull is ideally suited for expedition travel in Antarctica. The Ocean Nova has capacity for 68 passengers accommodated in comfortable outside cabins, all with private facilities, including dedicated single, twin and triple cabins. In addition to a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room, a spacious dining room, a bar and library, she also has an infirmary and an exercise room. The ship has Zodiac boats that are well suited for disembarking and wildlife watching.

Antarctica is an ecological wonder that bewitches explorers, scientists and voyagers alike. Getting to know and contemplate this yet unexplored continent has been the goal and dream of many adventurers that are not satisfied with simply imagining what it would feel like to traverse its ice caps and who have made up their minds to visit this wildlife paradise.

Antarctica has the singularity of being the continent that remained hidden from man for the longest period of time; its first visitors only arrived at these virgin frozen lands only two hundred years ago. Its beauty contrasts with extreme climate conditions, all of which makes it an exotic destination, truly hypnotizing for those few that reach this far away corner of the universe.

This trip will undoubtedly have many life defining moments, such as;

  • A once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy and photograph the awe-inspiring scenery made up of glaciers, mountains and countless roaming icebergs.
  • Be amongst the first people, and maybe the only person, to ever see some of the resident Elephant Seals, Fur and Weddell Seals.
  • The possibility of encounters with Orca, Minke, and Humpback whales.
  • Marvel at the Adelie, Chinstrap and Gentoo Penguins.
  • Enjoy the antics of a variety of other birds such as Albatrosses, Giant Petrels and Snowy Sheathbills.

Happy Travels!
