Legendary Svalbard. Land of polar bears and ice…and it is all yours and only yours to explore on this virtual private 6 person sailboat based safari.
There is no better way to experience this land than in the intimate and personal experience that a 45’ sailboat will provide. Our goal is to explore the Spitsbergen coastal areas that typical large cruise ships that serve the area cannot reach. We will penetrate into the shallower inlets and fiords and explore them at our own unhurried pace. Although the 80th degree is a distant goal to reach, if we find polar bears, walrus or other wildlife along the way that keeps us enthralled and entertained, then we will stay as long or as short as we like.
This 6 guest sailboat is perfect for a family or group with like-minded interests such as photographers. See Svalbard like no other vessel has been able to before. To get further inland, closer to shore, and with only 6 persons and not 120, we can go wherever we like, for however long we would like. With a shallow draft we can explore further into fiords to search out the wildlife of Svalbard up close and personal.
Our captain has 12 years experience sailing these waters and knows the ins and outs, and most importantly, where the polar bears and wildlife of Svalbard are to be found.
