MEETINGS AND INCENTIVES

TEAM BUILDING AND LEADERSHIP RETREATS IN NUNAVUT

WE CUSTOM-DESIGN PROGRAMS

Our MEETINGS AND INCENTIVE clients include government and private sector organizations. Based in Iqaluit, Canada’s coolest capital city, we work with community elders to provide hands-on activities grounded in the cultural philosophy of the Inuit called Quajimajatuqangit [quaya – maya – tu – caniet] (IQ).

IQ REDEFINED FOR MEETINGS AND INCENTIVE PROFESSIONALS

Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit translates to “that which Inuit have always known to be true.” The indigenous people of the Arctic have always known the value of consensus, collaborative relationships, and being resourceful to solve problems. Critical thinking is fundamental, because it leads to innovation. They practice their belief in knowledge embedded in process: know, apply, experience, evaluate and create new knowledge. For the Inuit, relationship building is as imperative as the sharing of knowledge to ensure the community can innovate to accommodate change. Introduce your executives to an age-old philosophy that has enabled the Inuit to adapt and thrive.
