Expedition cruising with Arctic Kingdom

We take pride in our land-based safaris and getaways to the Canadian Arctic. Our passion for the polar regions, however, enables us to encompass the entire range of travel possibilities – including expedition cruising.

Expedition Cruising in Antarctica

The first explorers – Bellingshausen, Ross, Gerlache, Scott, and Shackleton – all arrived by ship to explore Antarctica. Their ships were not as luxurious as the one we have chosen to transport you along the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Expedition Cruising through the Northwest Passage

The search for the Northwest Passage was by ship. For an authentic experience, then, you too should sail the Northwest Passage. Our route replicates the route taken by European explorers.

Yes, you can so visit the Antarctic Peninsula and avoid the mercurial Drake Passage, renowned as the roughest water in the Southern Hemisphere. Remember! You can’t claim to be a polar traveller unless you have been to the Arctic and Antarctica.

Northwest Passage

Frobisher, Franklin, McLintock, Rae – names that still echo through the Northwest Passage, once the Holy Grail of Arctic exploration. Follow in their wake from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to Kugluktuk (Coppermine), Nunavut, Canada.
