    The Arctic Circle is home to almost four million people. There are a few cities which thrive in the Arctic, such as Murmansk in Russia (295,000+ population), Tromsø in Norway (75,000+ population) and Utqiaġvik in Alaska (4,500+ population).

    The Arctic is also home to the Inuit, who are scattered across the Arctic Circle. In Canada, the Inuit live in four distinct regions: Nunavik, Nunavut, Inuvialuit and Nunatsiavut.
