Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC)

On loan from Toronto based George Brown College Chef School, Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism, Theo Lennartz brings over 40 years cooking experience to the Arctic Kingdom team.

Theo completed his apprenticeship in Aachen Germany at the age of 15 and continued his career in the culinary arts from cook to head chef while at many prestigious restaurants and hotels around the world. Throughout Theo’s career as a chef, his skills have been recognized by the industry with such achievements as being named as the Kitchen Manager for the Canada Culinary Olympic team and as the Escoffier Society’s 1992 Chef of the Year while furthering the development of Canada’s apprenticeship programs.

Theo is currently a chef professor at George Brown College where he has been training Canada’s future chefs for the past 21 years. Outside of his professional career, Theo leads an active outdoor lifestyle bringing much snowmobile and cool weather skills to the team.
